Description
  • Direct-mount fender keeps the mud off your fork and out of your eyes
  • Remove fender before using chairlifts that hang/hook bike from front wheel
  • FOX chose a crown mounted Podium fender for multiple reasons: 1. a low-mount design adds to unsprung mass (not just the fender, but also because of the increased size and strength of the stanchion guards to support it), 2. A low-mount fender will also have more surface area for mud to stick to and has an overall higher static weight as well, 3. Noise - a crown-mounted mud guard provides massive mud clearance and it's totally quiet with no rattling that is much more common from a low-mounted option, 4. Secure and strong - you're less likely to break a crown-mounted fender that is securely fitted further from the ground and debris
