Cutthroat is Salsa's Tour Divide-inspired bikepacking machine. With a lightweight efficient carbon frameset, ample tire clearance, and thoroughly thought-out mounts for all of your ride and camp essentials, Cutthroat is equally suited to setting records or seeking R&R.
The frame features high-modulus carbon fiber construction with a 69-degree head tube angle that provides a long stable wheelbase for confidence on technical rides. Class 5 VRS (Vibration Reduction System) absorbs micro-impacts on rough roads for improved ride compliance.
The Cutthroat Carbon Deluxe Fork includes three-pack mounts and internal dynamo cable routing. Both front and rear thru-axles feature boost spacing, and the bike uses flat mount brakes with internal cable routing on the frame and fork for a clean aesthetic.
The bike accommodates a 29 x 3.0" tire up front and a 29 x 2.4" tire in the rear, providing excellent tire clearance for varied terrain. A dropper post is included for more rider confidence, and the frame is designed to accommodate custom direct-mount frame bags with EXP Series Direct Mount Thumb Screws for tool-free attachment. The bike is SRAM UDH-compatible.
