Fargo is Salsa's steel drop-bar mountain bike that offers a winning combination of multiple wheel size compatibility, drivetrain options ranging from geared to belt drive to single speed, and cargo mounts galore. The frame features triple-butted CroMoly steel construction with Alternator 1.0 Flat Mount dropouts that allow for flat-mount brakes and many different drivetrains including single speed and belt drive. The Cutthroat Carbon Deluxe fork includes two sets of Three-Pack mounts, lowrider rack mounts, internal dynamo cable routing, flat-mount brake mounts, and abrasion-resistant plates.
Wheel size versatility allows you to run 27.5+, 29, or 29+ wheels and tires, with clearance for 29 x 3.0" tires without fenders. The bike features rear rack mounts with the Salsa Alternator Plus Rack recommended.
