Journeyer is Salsa's workhorse road and gravel adventure machine, designed as a versatile platform and gateway to gravel riding. The confidence of its aluminum frame and carbon fork attracts mixed-surface riders, while its cargo capacity appeals to bikepackers seeking a do-it-all bike.
The frame features a 6061-T6 alloy construction with internal routing for brakes, shifters, and dropper post. Top tube and down tube accessory mounts hold ride essentials, and the frame includes fender mounts and rack mounts for added versatility.
The Salsa Waxwing V2 carbon fork includes fender mounts, Three-Pack mounts, mid-blade rack mounts, and an abrasion-resistant plate. The bike is compatible with both 700c and 650b wheels and tires, with the frame fitting tires up to 700c x 50mm or 650b x 55mm (27.5 x 2.1"), and the Waxwing fork accommodating tires up to 700c x 45mm or 650b x 56.5mm.
Flat-mount disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, while 12 x 100mm thru-axle front and 12 x 142mm thru-axle rear hubs ensure secure wheel attachment.
