Journeyer is Salsa's workhorse road and gravel adventure machine. This versatile platform is a gateway to gravel riding, combining the confidence of an aluminum frame and carbon fork with mixed-surface capability and cargo capacity that appeals to bikepackers.
The frameset features a 6061-T6 alloy frame paired with a Salsa Waxwing V2 carbon fork that includes fender mounts, Three-Pack mounts, mid-blade rack mounts, and an abrasion-resistant plate. Flat-mount disc brakes and internal routing for brakes, shifters, and dropper posts keep the design clean and functional.
Journeyer's versatility extends to wheel and tire compatibility, accommodating both 700c and 650b wheels. The frame fits tires up to 700c x 50mm or 650b x 55mm (27.5 x 2.1"), while the Waxwing fork accepts tires up to 700c x 45mm or 650b x 56.5mm. Top tube and down tube accessory mounts on the frame hold ride essentials, and the fender mounts, rack mounts, and handlebar options suit riders seeking a do-it-all bike.
