Timberjack is Salsa's aggressive trail hardtail designed for technical terrain and demanding riders. Its progressive trail geometry is stable on descents and technical sections, with short chainstays and long front-center that provide agility and stability on the trail.
The frame is compatible with 130–150mm forks and dropper posts for confidence and capability on technical terrain. It accommodates up to 27.5 x 2.8" or 29 x 2.1–2.6" wheels and tires, offering dual wheel size compatibility and versatility.
The Alternator 2.0 dropouts are equipped with SRAM UDH-compatible dropout plates, and other Alternator 2.0 plates expand drivetrain and setup options for future flexibility. The frame features ample accessory mounts and maximized front triangle space for frame bag use.
Constructed from 6061-T6 alloy, the frame includes internal cable routing, an FSA headset, Salsa Deadbolt UL thru-axle, and Salsa Lip-Lock seatpost collar.
