The 202 NSW is crafted with the climbing specialist in mind - bringing weightless speed to the steepest of grades empowering riders to reach the summit faster on Zipp’s lightest wheelset ever. However the 202 NSW does more than climb fast; it provides aero advantage for the race to the climb and is designed for confidence on the getaway descent. While built with the high peaks in mind the 202 NSW is a welcome upgrade to any lightweight road build where every gram matters distilling decades of advanced design into an ultra-light wheel that is ultra-focused on making you faster.
  • Biomimetic Laminate which utilizes mixed-modulus carbon types to maximize stiffness at the spoke bed and toughness at the tire bed mimicking the function of a muscle tendon. The carbon fibers selected for the outer diameter of the rim prioritize strength and durability to withstand impacts from the road while the inner diameter of the rim uses higher modulus fibers to maintain consistent spoke tension under dynamic riding loads
  • The rim features Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE) for greater efficiency and reduced rolling resistance while the 35mm rim depth supports rider input without sacrificing durability and the aerodynamic advantage
  • Tubeless ready rim with 23mm inner width accommodates wider tires and lower pressures that minimize rolling resistance and vibration losses saving you watts so you can descend with speed and control
  • German-engineered ZR1 SL hubset with lightweight Alpina Hyperlight spokes in a 20-hole 2-cross configuration
